Privacy Policy

TryTry is operated from Australia and this policy is governed by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

• Photos you choose to upload — of yourself and of garments — solely to generate your try-on.
• The looks you generate (AI images and videos), kept only as described below.
• Account details — an email address if you register. Trial accounts are anonymous.
• Purchase records — which credit pack or subscription you bought. Payment itself is processed entirely by Apple; we never see your card.
• Security and consent records — a device identifier (to prevent free-tier abuse), moderation results, and an audit log of the consents you give in-app.

We collect no contacts and no location, and we do not track you across other apps or websites. TryTry contains no advertising, and this website sets no cookies.

Your photos and face data

• Uploads are encrypted in transit and at rest, and are processed only to create your try-on.
• Original photos are deleted within the hour — automatically, every time.
• Generated looks are delivered to your device; we don't keep a server-side gallery of your face.
• If you complete the identity-verification safety check, that selfie is used once for the check and then deleted.
• Your photos are never sold, never shared with advertisers or retailers, and never used to train AI models.

Who processes data for us

Like most apps, we rely on a small number of specialist providers, each receiving only what their job requires: our cloud infrastructure provider (data hosting and processing), an AI try-on image provider and an AI video-rendering provider (they receive the photos needed to generate your look, under contractual limits), a subscription-management provider (purchase records, no photos), and Apple (payments). Some of these providers process data outside Australia, including in the United States; we take reasonable steps to ensure they handle your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

How long we keep things

• Uploaded photos: deleted within the hour, automatically.
• Shared duo videos: expire and are deleted within 24 hours.
• Account data: until you delete your account.
• Purchase and consent records: retained as required for legal and accounting purposes, de-identified where possible.

Your choices and rights

• Delete any look — or your whole account — anytime from Settings, or at trytryapp.com/delete-account.
• You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information at any time.
• Questions or complaints: privacy@trytryapp.com. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Age

TryTry is for people aged 18 and over.

Changes

We'll update this policy as the product evolves — for example, if we add shopping links or new sharing features — and change the date above. Material changes will be flagged in-app before they apply to you.
